The Apostle of Sri Lanka
Saint Joseph VazSaint Joseph Vaz (1651–1711) was a missionary priest who single-handedly revived the Catholic faith in Sri Lanka during a period of intense Dutch persecution. Known for his humility, linguistic brilliance, and deep spirituality, he is the first saint of Sri Lanka.
